DOT/FMCSA Drug Testing of Commercial Drivers
Central Medical Review - DOT drug testing, alcohol testing, random testing programs to allow trucking and transportation companies to comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations for commercial drivers. Substance abuse screens are administered for random testing, pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion and return to duty. Collection sites available across the nation. We provide Third Party Administrator Consortium (TPA or TPA/C) services with in-house certified Medical Review Officer, random selection, and SAMHSA certified lab analysis. Drug free work place programs are also provided for employees other than commercial drivers. An employee must be subject to drugs testing who holds a commercial drivers license and is engaged in "safety sensitive" duties with a vehicle covered by DOT drug testing regulations and FMCSA drug testing regulations. For a brief overview of substance abuse testing for commercial drivers, it is summarized here.
